Waabigwan is my 3 year old daughter. Waabigwan means "flower" in Ojibwe. We call her Waaby for short. We have recently found American Sign Language on the internet. I was pleasantly surprised that she LOVES doing it and she even remembers it better than I do. She picks it up very quickly.
She already knows "Apple, Please, Thank you, It's nice to meet you, Milk, More, Eat, I'm a girl, You're a boy, Mommy, Daddy, I love you."With this blog, I am going to document her journey in American Sign Language. I'm hoping to post some videos of her signing soon.
